Who We Are
Mollyockett Pony Club (MPC) was founded November 17, 2001. The club was formed by six pony club members who desired to create a local club in South Central Maine.
During the winter months, we typically hold unmounted meetings every 2 weeks at various locals. During meetings we discuss a variety of horse management topics. We have assignments, demonstrations, videos, play games etc. Once Spring arrives, our meetings move out of doors to the rings at Runaway Ridge (No Yarmouth) and Snowfields in Pownal, ME. These meetings are generally held May - August.

In addition to our meetings the club spends time holding fundraisers, both for Mollyockett PC and the Northeast Region of PC. In past years, we have held a Mollyockett 2 Phase Event at Runaway Ridge Farm, and also at Meadowoods Farm, in Durham, ME. We have manned a very successful aid station at The Pineland Trails Challenge. We also run a heck of a food both at the only USEA horse trials in Maine - where else? Snowfields!
Our club members and sponsors also volunteer at regional rallies, events etc. to benefit Pony Club's Northeast Region. Members typically spend time attending mounted and unmounted lessons, rallies, and Pony Club camps & clinics.
Not only does our club depend on the active participation of our club members, Mollyockett PC would not exist without the hard work and dedication of its parents. Mollyockett PC is extremely fortunate to have some incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated folks who make the Pony Club experience one that the kids will remember for many years to come. These people have a vast array of experience and knowledge both in and out of the horse realm and this has made for a very successful club.

We have been extremely fortunate over the years to have the use of the incredible facilities at Snowfields in Pownal for all of our mounted meetings. The generosity of Patsy O'brien has made it possible for the horse community to benefit in every way possible. For the last 20 years, Snowfields Horse Trials has been held at this same location!
At Snowfields we have the use of a sand Dressage ring with stadium jumps and an incredible cross country course.
Below are some photos of the facility.
