MPC is located in South Central Maine and is a member club of The Northeast Region (NER) of The United States Pony Club(USPC).

The USPC is one of the leading junior equestrian organizations in the world. The USPC Mission Statement is to provide a program for youth which teaches riding, mounted sports, and the care of horses and ponies, thereby developing responsibility, moral judgement, leadership and self confidence.
